Putting flyer links on your pages
Okay, again I stole this idea from the Internet Pinball Database (cause it is a good idea!). What this enables you to do is link specific flyer scans to your web pages. The .cgi program takes the following parameters...
- id This is the specific id of the flyer you want to have displayed, use the database search engine to find out the id number.
- out This flag sets the type of output the program shows, it will default to thumbnail output unless out is set to equal "text".
- http This is the return URL to your page so people can go back with a link. You don't need to put the http:\\ in front just the actual address (ex.. magenta.com/havoc).
- text This is the text for the return link. You can put what ever you want to call your page.. maybe like text=Back%20to%20Cameron's%20Pinball%20Page . The %20's are spaces.
Getting it to work
Putting all the parameters into your link would look something like this...
